(a) Indian Veterinary Research Institute is located in Bareilly. It is established in 1889 under the control of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). It has been providing advanced research facility in the field of veterinary medicine and allied branches. It has regional campuses at Bangalore, Palampur, Bhopal,Kolkata and Srinagar.
