Devendra Jhajharia won a Gold medal for India in Men’s Javelin Throw event at the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games. He won the Gold medal in the Men's Javelin Throw F46 event, bettering his own 2004 record with a world-record throw of 63.97 metres. India capped off a successful Paralympic Games campaign in Rio de Janeiro by procuring their best-ever haul of four medals, including two golds and a silver and bronze medals.
