Tarikh–i–Akbari was written by a Persian language scholar, Arif Qandahari. Tarikh–i–Akbari, also known as Tarikh–i–Qandahari, or Muzaffar Nama, the first chronicle of Emperor Akbar's reign is an immensely important source of information on the 16th Century History of India, particularly the formative years of his career.
