An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), commonly known as a drone, is an aircraft without a human pilot on board and a type of unmanned vehicle. It finds several applications such as Aerial photography for journalism and film, express shipping and delivery, gathering information or supplying essentials for disaster management, search and rescue operations, spraying pesticides on crop food, etc.
It also has some advanced applications such as sampling water deep within volcanic craters and collecting breath samples from spouting whales for DNA analysis.
