Solution:

(i) In 1972−73,74.3% workforce was engaged in primary sector, which declined to 48.9% in 2011−12. It shows the substantial shift from farm work to non-farm work.
(ii) Secondary sector are showing promising future for the Indian workforce as shares of this sector have increased from 10.9% to 24.3%.
(iii) Service sector also are showing promising future for the Indian workforce as it have increased from 14.8% to 26.8%.
