My locality boasts of a huge park that is equipped with benches and playground. The park was inaugurated in 2012 and was promoted as a place where one and all come to unwind and relax. However, the hugely promoted park is now in a state of abject disrepair. I am writing this letter to draw your attention to the horrendous conditions of the park and to initiate some steps to improve the situation.
The gates of this magnanimous park are broken and no attempts have been made to fix them. Further, for a park that is supposed to be promoting a green environment, it is bare of any greenery and what is left is slowly deteriorating away. The shocking bit is that the employees responsible for the upkeep of the park are seldom seen around and this has led to squatters occupying the park and making it their home. This situation reflects poorly on the otherwise good work done by your department. I hope that your good-self takes heed of this situation and ensures that appropriate action is taken to bring life back into the park as many people look forward to unwinding at the park.
