ONE ACT OF KINDNESS SAVES TWO
A Report by Rohit
14 th December, 20XX : A picnic organised by the school history club on the river bank soon turned into an awful event. While the students brought out their picnic baskets and gathered around to celebrate their achievements at the recent inter school history quiz, a couple on a paddling boat was soon going to face the shock of their lives. As they continued paddling around the river, they lost hold of the boat, which subsequently toppled with both the persons on it. Shouts of cry for help prompted every passerby to look up and gather around the river to try and help the sinking couple. It was one brave man who made the ultimate sacrifice by jumping into the river and rescuing the two persons on-board. The students and the crowd were fearful as it was not an easy task to save the flailing souls as it soon started to rain. A winter downpour and drowning people were not the best match but this brave man was able to save the couple and himself. The crowd gathered around the rescuer and applauded him for his brave efforts.
