Explain how the opportunity costs of negative environment impacts are high.
Solution:  
The opportunity cost of negative environmental impacts are very high and can be seen in terms of destruction of resources and human lives. For example, deforestation, falling trees, over use of water, over-exploitation of fossil fuels and other raw materials are certain alarm raising examples of ecosystem destruction for the replacement of which huge cost will be incurred. As we can also see that due to global warming, the global weather has changed which is resulting into untimely flash floods, earthquakes, droughts and forest fires claiming thousands of lives every year.
