Compare India and China on the basis of any one of the indicator identified above in part (i).
Solution:
Comparison of India and China on the basis of 'Life Expectancy at Birth":
Life Expectancy at birth in China is 76.9 years while it is 69.7 years in India. China is ahead of India as in China, it is 7 years longer than India. It is because of better health facilities in China. In India, lack of hospitals, poor facilities in hospitals and primary health centers in rural areas, lack of specialized doctors, nurses and other medical staff are responsible for less life expectancy at birth.
