Describe the main features of 'Poona Pact'.

The Poona Pact was the agreement between Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar signed on 24 September, 1932. The major points in this pact were as follows:
(i) 148 seats were to be allotted to the depressed classes in the provincial legislatures. This was more than double from the 71 seats as promised in the Communal Award.
