IMPS (Immediate Mobile Payment service): It is use to make payment through mobile number or Adhaar card number linked to bank account. This services was started in 2010. In order to use IMPS, one have to register for mobile banking and once registered can send money in real time. IMPS facility is being charged by the bank. IMPS is available 24∕7,365 days. So This is a preferred mode for transferring funds.
