Calculate the value of i2, if the angle of deviation is 43∘.
Solution:  
Here, angle of prism (∠A)=60∘
( ∵ It is an equilateral prism)
Angle of incidence (i1)=65∘
Angle of deviation (δ)=43∘
Angle of emergence (i2)= ?
We know, i1+i2=A+δ
⇒‌65∘+i2‌=60∘+43∘
∴‌i2‌=103∘−65∘
=38∘
