Solution:
The inequality is 3(x – 1) ≤ 2(x – 3) or 3x – 3 ≤ 2x – 6
Transposing 2x to L.H.S. and –3 to R.H.S., we get 3x – 2x ≤ – 6 + 3
⇒ x ≤ –3
∴ The solution is (– ∞, –3].
Transposing 2x to L.H.S. and –3 to R.H.S., we get 3x – 2x ≤ – 6 + 3
⇒ x ≤ –3
∴ The solution is (– ∞, –3].
