Question : 2
Total: 36
If the set A has 3 elements and the set B = {3, 4, 5}, then find the number of elements in (A × B).
Solution:
According to question, n(A) = 3 and n(B) = 3.
∴ n(A × B) = n(A) × n(B) = 3 × 3 = 9
∴ There are total 9 elements in (A × B).
∴ n(A × B) = n(A) × n(B) = 3 × 3 = 9
∴ There are total 9 elements in (A × B).
