Solution:
Given, A × B = {(a, x), (a, y), (b, x), (b, y)}
If (p, q) ∈ A × B, then p ∈ A and q ∈ B
∴ A = {a, b} and B = {x, y}.
If (p, q) ∈ A × B, then p ∈ A and q ∈ B
∴ A = {a, b} and B = {x, y}.
