Point (3, –2, 1); Plane (2x – y + 2z + 3 = 0)
Solution:  
The given plane is
2x – y + 2z + 3 = 0 ...(1)
∴ Distance of (3, –2, 1) from plane (1)
=∣2×3−(−2)+2×1+34+1+4∣= \left| \frac{2 \times 3 - (-2) + 2 \times 1 + 3}{\sqrt{4+1+4}} \right| =133= \frac{13}{3}
