Subhash Chandra Bose presided Haripura session of Indian National Congress in 1938. It was this 1938 Haripura session when the differences between Gandhi and Bose surfaced over their attitudes towards the Great Britain. This variance grew further when Subhash Chandra Bose organized National Planning Committee. The idea was to draw a comprehensive plan for economic development of India on the basis of Industrialization. It was against the Charkha policy of Gandhi.
