Given : 10 < m < 100, m is an integer.
I. Given : one digit of m is 3 times the other .
⇒ m can be 13, 31, 26, 62, 39, 93
∴ I alone is not sufficient.
II. Given : Sum of digits in m is 8.
⇒ m can be 17, 71, 26, 62
∴ II alone is not sufficient.
I & II. Both 26 and 62 satisfy both the statements. Thus, we don’t get a unique solution.
∴ I & II together are not sufficient.
