Directions for questions 49 to 51: Answer the questions on the basis of the information given below.
An excavation squad recently found an unusual 8-faced die. The shape of the die was that of a hexagonal prism with 6 rectangular faces and 2 hexagonal faces (See figure). On each face a distinct digit from 1 to 8 was written. Two digits are said to be adjacent or opposite each other if the faces containing the two digits are adjacent or opposite respectively.

Additional Information:
1. Each of 3, 6 and 7 had the same number of digits adjacent to them. Also, no two of 3, 6 and 7 were adjacent to each other.
2. The total sum of all the digits adjacent to 4 was 31.
3. The digits opposite each other were added and their sum was noted. All such possible sums were found to be different.
