The city recorded an air quality index (AQI) of 304 , which falls in the very poor category.
The 24-hour average AQI was 261 on 12 Oct 2020, the worst since Feb 2020.
An AQI between 0-50 is considered 'good', 51-100 is 'satisfactory', 101-200 'moderate', 201-300 'poor', 301-400 'very poor' and 401-500 is marked as 'severe/hazardous'.
