Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker are two architects credited to have designed the city of New Delhi
Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker were both English architects and friends.
New Delhi, after completion, was inaugurated in the year 1931 by Viceroy Lord Irwin.
Rashtrapati Bhawan was also designed by both these architects.
Chandigarh city was planned by the Swiss-born architect Le Corbusier , assisted by Maxwell Fry, Jane Drew.
