India has a score of 61.92.
The report comprises SDG index 2020. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, it is expected that there would be severe negative impacts on most of the United Nations (UN) - mandated Sustainable Development Goals due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2020 report has reviewed the performance of 193 UN Member States out of which 166 were ranked under SDG index 2020.
First rank - Sweden with a score of 84.72.
Second rank - Denmark with a score of 83.77.
India has been facing major challenges in 10 of the 17 SDGs which also include zero hunger, good health, gender inequality among others.
The report includes data on changes over time in 17 SDG indicators, the future of the SDGs amidst Covid-19, as well as calculations for trajectories until2030.
