Air pollution leaves behind smoke, soot and sulfur oxides which is very hazardous for good health.
Farm stubble burning is a major contributor to the problem, and its footprint may be growing because of wider use of mechanical harvesters that is producing more waste.
Most of the pollution is contributed by cities, especially, metro and mega cities.
The government should take serious measures to stop the rising level of pollution else, time is not very far when we would be breathing in a gas chamber.
