(3) In the Chhotanagpur Tenure Act, 1869, Bhuinhari tenure are lands in non-Mundari areas, which have been reclaimed and bought under cultivation by original claimants like Oraons of the village or their descendants. They enjoy the status of tenure-holders and hold land either rent free or at quit rent fixed in perpetuity. The khunt-katti system of the Mundas was excluded from the scope of the Act.
