In conjoint arrangement, both xylem and phloem are present on the same radius. It can be of two types: → Collateral: In these bundles, the xylem and phloem lie on the same radius. Phloem is present on the outer side and xylem towards inner side, for example, sunflower. → Bicollateral: In such bundles, phloem is found to be present on both sides of xylem. Usually strip of vascular cambium is present on both outer and inner sides of xylem.
