Pancreatic juice is released by the hepato-pancreatic duct in the small intestine. The enzymes present in pancreatic juice include: → Pancreatic amylase: It is a starch-digesting enzyme → Trypsin, chymotrypsin and carboxypeptidase: They are protein-digesting enzymes. The protein-digesting enzymes of the pancreas are produced in an inactive form. → Pancreatic lipase: It is the main triglyceride-digesting enzyme in adults. → Ribonuclease and deoxyribonuclease: They are the nucleic acid-digesting enzymes.
