“Sharad Joshi Samman” is awarded each year to individuals for outstanding achievement in the field of Satire and Essay.
The award has been instituted in the memory of Sharad Joshi by the Madhya Pradesh government where the awardee is given a citation along with 51,000 rupees.
Late Sushil Siddhart was honoured with Sharad Joshi Samman.
