Electric Circuit: An electric circuit is a closed-loop through which electric charge flows as a result of a driving voltage. It may also be an open circuit where the electron flow is cut short because the path is broken.
An open circuit does not allow electrical current to flow. A simple circuit has conductors, a switch, a load, and a power source.
An electric circuit includes a device that gives energy to the charged particles constituting the current, such as a battery or a generator, devices that use current, such as lamps, electric motors, and the connecting wires or transmission lines.
Electrical Conductors: Those materials that can conduct electricity as its electrons can move freely from one atom to another. For example Seawater, iron blade gold, silver, copper, aluminum, and graphite, etc. All these are good conductors of electricity.
Through the conductor, electric current can flow easily or electrons can move freely from one atom to another. So, a blade can be used to complete an electric circuit if one runs out of connecting wire.
Bad conductors of electricity- plastic, rubber , glass, air, wooden stick, paper strip , charcoal, and diamond.
Electric current can now flow through bad conductors of electricity.
Hence, from the above-mentioned points, it becomes clear that a blade can be used to complete an electric circuit if one runs out of connecting wire.
