The Instrument of Accession is a legal paper executed by Maharaja Hari Singh, ruler of the princely state of Jammu and Kashmir, on 26 October 1947.
Indian Constitution was written and passed on 26, November 1949 and comes into action on 26, January 1950.
On 15 February 1954 the assembly members who were present cast a unanimous vote ratifying the state's accession to India.
