Adipocytes, also known as lipocytes and fat cells, are the cells that primarily compose adipose tissue, specialized in storing energy as fat.
Lying three layers deep under the skin, the adipose tissue is composed of a loose collection of specialized cells, called adipocytes, embedded in a mesh of collagen fibers.
Chondrocytes: They are the only cells found in healthy cartilage.
They produce and maintain the cartilaginous matrix
Osteocytes from osteoblasts, and are bone-forming cells.
