The Bhitarkanika National Park is located in Odisha's Kendrapara district. It was declared as a Bhitarkanika National Park in the year of 1988. It obtained the status of a Ramsar site on August 19, 2002. Total area of the park is about 145.00 sq km. The park is home to the endangered saltwater crocodile, White crocodile, Indian python King Cobra, Black ibis and many other species of Flora and Fauna.
