Glucagon is a peptide hormone, produced by alpha cells of the pancreas. Glucagon involved in controlling blood sugar (glucose) levels. Glucagon works with liver to turn a type of stored sugar called glycogen into glucose. 'Hypothalamus' secretes corticotrophin-releasing hormone, dopamine, growth hormone-releasing hormone, somatostatin, gonadotrophin-releasing hormone and thyrotrophin-releasing hormone. 'Pituitary glands' secrete Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH), Adrenocorticotropic Hormone (ACTH), Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH) and Luteinising Hormones (LH). 'Adrenal gland' secretes steroid hormones such as Cortisol and Aldosterone.
