(d) Swachh Bharat Mission is a campaign which was launched by the government of India on October 2, 2014 at Rajghat, New Delhi by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It aims to clean up the streets,roads and infrastructure of the cities, smaller towns and rural areas of India. The main objectives of Swachh Bharat include eliminating open defecation by building household-owned and community-owned toilets.
