(b) Judicial Review refers to the power of the judiciary to interpret the constitution and to declare any such law or order of the legislature and executive void, if it finds the min conflict with the Constitution of India. In some of its distinguished judgements, the Supreme Court has defined the outline of sovereign power as distributed amongst the three branches of the Government,namely the legislature, the executive and the judiciary. Indian constitution has borrowed many items from the constitution of many countries like judicial review was taken from the constitution of America.
