(b) Jahandar Shah, was a Mughal Emperor who ruled for a brief period in 1712–1713. Muḥammad Shah was Mughal emperor from 1719 to 1748. He was son of Khujista Akhtar, the fourth son of Bahadur Shah I. Ahmad Shah was born to Mughal Emperor Muhammad Shah. He succeeded his father to the throne as the 13th Mughal Emperor in 1748. Alamgir II was the son of Jahandar Shah. He was raised to the throne by Imad-ul-Mulk after he deposed Ahmad Shah in 1754. On ascending the throne,he took the title of Alamgir.
