Statements 1, 2 and 3 are the characteristics of the Sannyasi andFakir uprisings. The revolt was the activities of the sannyasis andfakirs (Hindu and Muslim ascetics,respectively) in Bengal against the East India Company rule in the 18th century (1763 onwards). It is also known as the Sannyasi rebellion which took place aroundMurshidabad and Baikunthpur forests of Jalpaiguri. Non-Cooperation Movement, in 1920- 1922, was organised by MahatmaGandhi, to induce the Britishgovernment to grant selfgovernment, or swaraj, to India.Hence, the uprisings are notcontemporaneous with the NonCooperation Movement.
