Human Development Report for each year at global level is published by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The report was first launched in 1990. There are five indices released each year: Human Development Index (HDI), Inequality –Adjusted Human Development Index (IHDI), Gender Development Index (GDI), Gender Inequality Index (GII), and Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI).
