In order to find out the absolute location of a place on the map, both latitude and longitude of the place will be required. The Earth is divided into degrees of longitude and latitude which help us to measure locations and time using a single standard. Latitude are parallel to the equator (east-west). Longitude is the measurement east or west of the Prime Meridian. It is vertically (imaginary) lines and meets at north and south poles. So, with the help of latitude and longitude we can find absolute location of a place on the Earth.
