The Constitution of India doesn't guarantee 'Right to Property' as a Fundamental Right. The Fundamental Rights have been described in Article-12 to 35, Part Ill of the Indian Constitution. Originally, Fundamental Rights were seven-Right to Equality, Right to Freedom, Right against Exploitation, Right to Freedom of Religion,Educational and Cultural Rights and Right to Constitutional Remedies. Right to Property (A-31) was deleted from the list of Fundamental Right by 44th Amendment Act, 1978. It is now a legal right under Article-300 A in part XII of the Constitution.
