Stepwell Rani-ki-Vav is located in the Patan city of Gujarat. The Raniki-Vav (the Queen’s Stepwell) is located on the banks of the Saraswati River and was initially built as a memorial to King Bhimdev I of the Solanki dynasty. The site was excavated in the late 1980s by the Archeological Survey of India (ASI). It is built in MaruGurjara architectural style.
