Maulvi Ahmadullah Shah, who played an important part in the Revolt of 1857, could never be caught by the British alive. Finally, the king of Powayan Raja Jagannath Singh killed Maulvi with treachery. So, we are left with fourth option. On 30th June, 1857, British officer Sir Henry Lawrence led his troop in the famous Battle of Chinhat which was fought by Maulvi Ahmadullah Shah.
