Secretions of epididymis, vas deferens, seminal vesicle and prostate are essential for maturation and motility of sperms. The epididymis is a long, coiled tube that is found on the backside of each testicle. It transports and stores sperm cells that are produced in the testes. The vas deferens transports mature sperms to the urethra. The seminal vesicles produce fructose that provides a source of energy to the sperms to help them move. The prostate gland nourishes the sperms and contributes to making additional fluid for ejaculation.
