Net Neutrality is defined as "the principle that Internet service providers should enable access to all content and applications regardless of the source, and without favoring particular products or websites". Why in news? The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India recommended the creation of a multi-stakeholder body (MSB). Recommendations of TRAI: ● The role of the MSB shall be to provide advice and support to the Department of Telecommunications. So statement I is correct . ● The multi-stakeholder body (MSB) may also be required to investigate complaints regarding the violation of net neutrality. So statement II is correct . ● The MSB should be set up as a non-profit entity .
