Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper I would like to talk about the need for book fairs in and around Bhopal city to promote the habit of reading in students.
Recently, XYZ school in Bhopal organised is book fair in collaboration with local publishers This book fair housed several fiction and non fiction books as well as books essential for various academic subjects. The two-day fair had seen a plethora of the public thronging to view and purchase the books on sale. I also had the opportunity to be a part of this book fair.
i was surprised to see young and old alike choosing books of their interest as well as providing reading suggestions. Parents and students at the event waited in long queues just to buy their favourite books . This indicated that book fairs open to the public bring about the habit of reading. I am certain that such book fairs will only increase the fervor of reading among children and help them to be less reliant on social media for their entertainment. I, hereby, request you to give my article a place in your esteemed newspaper so that the relevant authorities may express their interest and take steps to conduct such book fairs across other cities of the state to promote the habit of reading.
Thanking you
Yours sincerely
