Total: 27
Every year there are floods or droughts in the country. Victims suffer a lot. The government does a lot to help the people, but it is not enough. Society also must do its bit. Write a speech in 150-200 words to be delivered in the school morning assembly describing how the students can also help by collecting clothes, money, and medicines from their neighbourhoods. You are Arun/Aruna.
Solution:
GIVE, AND YOU WILL RECEIVE
Today, our country is facing frequent problems with respect to environmental changes. Victims of flood and drought have no hope but to rely on the meagre help of the Government to fulfil their needs. Honourable Principal, Respected teachers and my dear friends, today I, Arun/Aruna, the secretary of the school's Social Involvement Program, stand before you to speak about how we can do our bit to create a difference in the lives of these people.
Drought and floods have ravaged our country from centuries, however, today we stand at such times when increasing prices makes it difficult for victims of these environmental hazards to rely on the aid provided by the government. In most cases, aid does not even reach on time leaving these poor families stranded like a headless chicken. It is our duty to help our suffering brethren and as citizens of tomorrow, we shall come together to do our bit. Collecting medicines, clothes and even small amounts of money from our neighbourhood can go a long way to help our people. Let us all consciously strive to make efforts to help our suffering brothers and sisters. Thank You!
