Vestibule Training: It is a type of training method that involves creating simulated work environment that closely resembles the actual workplace. It is one of the off-the-job training methods.
(i) Vestibule training is off-the-job training in which technical personnel are taught how to utilise tools and machines in a simulated environment. (dummy model)
(ii) Vestibule training is provided to employees when new or advanced equipment or tools are introduced into the organisation to do a particular job by using them. For this purpose such equipment is brought to a separate place to give demonstration and train how to use and handle it by employees safely.
(iii) Vestibule training is suitable where a large number of persons are to be trained at the same time for the same kind of work. The main emphasis is on learning rather than on production.
