Solution:

We know that the equation of a line with slope m and passing
through the point (x0,y0) is given by (y – y0) = m(x – x0).
Here, m = – 2, x0 = – 3, y0 = 0
y – 0 = – 2 (x + 3) ⇒ 2x + y + 6 = 0
