Formula Used:
Total work = number of men × number of days
Calculation:
Let efficiency of man be ‘M’ unit and woman be ‘W’ unit
⇒6M×10=5W×12
⇒M=W
Now,
⇒1‌man‌and‌2‌women=1M+2W=1M+2M=3M
Let 3 man complete the work in x days
⇒6M×10=3M×x
⇒x=20‌days
∴ 1 man and 2 women complete the work in 20 days.
