(3) Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader Stephen Marandi was, on 22 November 2016, honoured with the Best Legislator award of the Jharkhand Legislative assembly by Governor Draupadi Murmu. A tribal leader from Santhal Pargana, Marandi won the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election, 2014 from Maheshpur constituency.
