A hyper aneuploidy organism is the one having chromosome number higher (i.e., 2n + 1), than a normal individual with one genome. For example, Down’s syndrome (47, 21) in which chromosome number 21 (autosome) is in triplicate in human beings. Another example is Klinefelter’s syndrome (47, XXY) in which when an extra X chromosome (sex chromosome) is present in males.
